Hello, my name is Anthony Alford. Some of you might know me as Double A! I am the host of two programs you will see on the InsideEdge Network, the Side Hustle Wrestling Podcast (with tennis champion Kyle Cornell), and The Main Event (with WTAM’s Rob Rozycki and artist Eli Moon). I am also the program director of the new InsideEdge Network!
Growing up in Cleveland, I developed a deep love for Cleveland sports and broadcasting. Family discussions always included sports, especially Thanksgiving. My father and I used to listen to sports-talk radio when I was a pre-teen!
I graduated from Maple Heights High School in 2010, Bowling Green State University in 2015, and Ohio Media School in 2016. It was at Ohio Media School where I decided to fully pursue broadcasting. I joined their student-ran radio stations North Coast Underground and All Sports Cleveland where The Main Event was a top program on the schedule.
In October 2016, I joined Newsradio WTAM 1100 originally as a board op. In 2017, I earned the opportunity to host various station postgame shows for the Cavs, Indians, and Browns. During this time, I hosted pregame and postgame shows with Nick Camino, Dennis Manoloff, and Greg Brinda. In 2020, I co-hosted our station’s Saturday night program with Rob Rozycki and hosted my own Sunday Night program.
In July 2021, I moved to Downtown Cleveland to join 92.3 The Fan as a full-time producer for The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima. While at the FAN, I hosted and produced the Browns Tailgate Pregame Show, Cavs Playoff postgame shows, and filled in on various night and weekend shows.
Also in 2021, I joined LPV Productions to work the Chagrin Valley Conference High School Football Game of the Week broadcasts for CVC TV. These games can be found on ChagrinValleyConference.com, CVC TV on YouTube, and on the ROCK Entertainment Sports Network.
